We all have a few organizations and charities with a special connection to us – for me it’s the likes of American Cancer Society, South Carolina ETV, and Charleston’s own We Are Family.
I make sure to throw a few dollars here and there towards the good work done at those and similar outfits. So I’ve been pleased at how often I’ve seen Susan G. Komen inserted into the menus at some of our marvelous Charleston restaurants and bars as they honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Please let me know which ones I’ve missed!
Also feel free to stay on your sofa and support the Komen Foundation by tossing them a few dollars HERE.
